Our Pastor
Fr. Joseph V. Trupkovich, born and raised near Uniontown,
Pa. in Fayette County, has been pastor of Christ the King parish since 2003.
He is the son of the late Thomas and Joan Trupkovich. Fr. Joe has a twin brother,
Fr. Tom, who is also a priest of the Diocese of Greensburg. His home parish
is St. Mary of the Nativity in Uniontown, Pa.
Graduating from Fairchance-Georges High School in 1972, Fr. Joe then attended Penn State University’s Fayette Campus and graduated from California State College of Pennsylvania in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education majoring in mathematics. After teaching for sixteen years in the Albert Gallatin School District he entered Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Pa. and graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree.
Ordained for the Diocese of Greensburg in 1997, his assignments as a parochial vicar have been at Mother of Sorrows in Murrysville and Our Lady of Grace in Greensburg.
