Pajama Project 2015

We will be collecting for distribution new, unwrapped pajamas for boys and girls less fortunate in our area. The PJ’s will be given to the children before Christmas so they will have warm pajamas for the holidays.

A box is available in the gathering space of the church to receive donations. Final pick up will be Sunday, December 20th.

Last year Christ the King parishioners had a wonderful response with their donations to this project. Let’s have another great year.

Please consider joining one (or both) of our choirs. No auditions are held and the only requirement is to enjoy singing.

The Traditional Choir welcomes all new members and is in particular need of men.

The Joyful Praise Choir is open to anyone from 7th grade through adult.

March for Life

The Office for Evangelization and Faith formation for the Diocese of Greensburg sponsors a youth pilgrimage to the March for Life in Washington, DC, each January.
Our annual pilgrimage, slated for January 21-22, 2016, is open to youth in ninth through twelfth grade and their adult chaperones. No middle school students are eligible to attend and all chaperones must have their required PA clearances. The youth pilgrimage includes the Life Is Very Good evening and morning rallies at the Eagle Bank Arena on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., as well as a pizza party, overnight hotel accommodations, all meals, the 42nd Annual March for Life, and a diocesan t-shirt and bag.
The total pilgrimage cost is $125. A $25 deposit is due by ASAP, to reserve a spot and spots may fill quickly. There are only 50 spots available for this trip. Spots will not be held for parishes without the deposit. Payment is due in full by January 8, 2016.
