What's happening in our Parish:

Christ the King Parish has arranged for a special one hour train ride on the Kiski Junction Railroad and EVERYONE IS INVITED!
Riders will depart the Kiski Junction Station, (located at 130 Railroad Street, Schenley), at 11 AM Saturday, September 20th.

Come enjoy a scenic view of the Kiskiminetas and Allegheny rivers as we ride on a real working short line railroad.
Tickets rates are;
$8 for Seniors (62+)
$9 for adults
$7 for children 4 to 13 years
FREE for children 3 years and under
You may purchase your tickets at the junction the day of the ride.
If you plan on joining in on the fun, please call the Christ the King parish
office at 724-845-8191, so we may inform Kiski Junction Railroad of the number
of riders to expect.

I know everyone is getting ready for school and fall activities for the next few weeks, so our next youth meeting will be held on:
Tuesday, September 16, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM.
We will discuss fall events.

A special thank you to those that helped with cleaning the grounds for the festival this past Tuesday.

“Youth Ignited” wishes to thank the parishioners for your generous donations, prayers and encouraging words for our youth program.
Thank you for helping us unite and IGNITE our youth!
The Joyful Praise Choir will begin rehearsals on
August 17th.

Anyone from 7th grade through adult is welcome to join.
